Jo-Ann F. Grandy

Rumford – Jo-Ann F. (Boissoneault) Grandy, 80, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2024 after a brief and sudden illness, surrounded by loved ones. She was the beloved wife of James Grandy. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late LeRoy P. and Addie M. (Beretta) Boissoneault.   Besides her loving husband, she is survived by two children, Roy Raniello and his wife, Dolores, of Nevada, and Tracey Raniello of Johnston; five grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a sister, Carol Esposito of Florida; and her predeceased brother Leroy “Roy” Boissoneault and sister Barbara Hilton of Rhode Island. She also leaves behind her beloved dogs that she loved like her own children, Bruiser and Honey; her dear friend, Cheryl A. Salera of East Providence and her extended Salera family who lovingly referred to her as “Aunt Jo-Ann”.   Jo-Ann graduated from Central Falls High School in 1960 and worked as a manager for Darling Hotels, Inc., Seekonk, MA, until retiring in 2020.
