Pawtucket – James “Big Jim” T.

Rourke, 54, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, August 2, 2019.

He was the husband of Keri M. (LeBeau) Rourke.

A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, he was a son of Elizabeth (Kingsbury) DeCosta of Pawtucket and the late John L.

Jim had been a sales manager for Solutions Consulting of New Jersey for over ten years.

A lifelong fan of all the New England sports teams, he loved to talk about the Red Sox and Patriots every single day.

Jim knew all the stats as well as all the player’s names.

He and his children loved soccer and together followed the New England Revolution.

Jim also loved fishing, country music and was a fantastic golfer.

He was a hard ass on his children, but only because he wanted nothing but the best for them.

Jim was the most hilarious person they had ever met.

He was very proud of his children and would always brag about them.

His main focus was always his children, he was an awesome Dad.

Jim treasured his family and friends, he will always be lovingly remembered by the many lives he touched.

Besides his wife and mother, he leaves six children, Courtney Piccirillo in Maine, Ian P., Kelsi M., Tait K., Elly A. and Brock R.

Rourke all of Cumberland and two granddaughters, Mya and Zoe Piccirillo in Maine.

He was the brother of Judith Blouin in Ohio, John Rourke and his wife, Gail, in Connecticut, Jeffrey Rourke and his wife, Cheryl, in Massachusetts, Jennifer Blanchet and her husband, Raymond, of Pawtucket with whom he made his home, Joy McCaughey in Connecticut and the late JoAnne Partington.

Jim will also be missed by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends, especially Rick, who was always there for him and very much appreciated.

Jim’s family would like to acknowledge with great gratitude the extraordinary care provided by Dr.

Victoria Brown and the entire oncology team at the Fain Building, as well as the wonderful nurses, Cara, Kathy and Dustin at The Miriam Hospital.

Relatives and friends are invited to VISITATION on Thursday, August 8th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.

Services followed by interment at Notre Dame Cemetery will be private.
