Bonivart, 50, of Pawtucket, RI, passed away on January 9, 2024, after a brief battle with stomach cancer.
She died peacefully, surrounded by loved ones.
Born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, to parents Elizabeth Bonivart and Dr.
Arthur Bonivart, Jen earned a bachelor’s degree in mass communications at Emerson College in 1996.
Upon graduation, she relocated to Los Angeles, where she worked for several years in the film industry, before parlaying her writing talents toward a successful career in advertising.
In her positions with such industry behemoths as Saatchi and Saatchi, Ogilvy and Mathers, and her final post as Senior Copywriter at Klick Health, Jen spearheaded a number of diverse, award-winning campaigns for companies including AT&T, Snickers, Johns Hopkins Medicine, and Together Counts, a national program to fight childhood obesity.
Jen’s career and free spirit inspired her travel around the world--to her father’s native Hungary and her mother’s home country of Canada, as well as to Austria, South Africa, and the Yucatan Peninsula.
She made homes in Los Angeles, New York City, and Rhode Island, forging deep and abiding friendships along the way.
She was a beloved aunt, godmother, and trusted confidante, who will be deeply missed. “I’ve made mistakes in my life,” Jen was fond of saying, “but I definitely picked the best friends.” Jen is survived by her mother, Elizabeth, and many extended family members and friends.
She will be mourned by all who loved her.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated for both Jen and her father, Dr.
Arthur Bonivart, on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 11 a.m. at St.
Teresa of the Child Jesus Church, 358 Newport Ave in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.
Arrangements for both Jen and her father, Dr.
Arthur Bonivart are entrusted to William W.
Tripp Funeral Home, Pawtucket.

Dried the tears up from my dreams and pulled me from my hole, quenched my thirst and satisfied the burning in my soul.” --Bob Dylan
