Hope Valley – Jeffrey “Jay” J.
Hutton, 62, formerly of Warwick and Pawtucket, passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, April 14, 2022.
He was the beloved husband of the late Kathleen J. (Smith) Hutton.
Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Edward “Teddy” W. and Regina M. (Hilliard) Hutton.
Jay had resided in Hope Valley since October of 2004.
He had previously resided on Stone Avenue, Warwick, and Robinson Avenue and Evergreen Street in Pawtucket.
Jay was an extremely respected member and past president of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union Local No. 51, formerly Local No. 28.
He was employed at Twin Rivers, Lincoln, for eleven years until retiring in 2019.
More than anything, Jay loved spending time with his grandson, Brayden.
He enjoyed being an amateur boxer at Grundy’s Gym, Central Falls, and had also been a supporter and member of the Warwick Little League.
Jay could always be counted on for helping others at any time.
He leaves a son, Jeffrey E.
Hutton and his fiancée, Kaitlyn Holmes, and his beloved grandson, Brayden Jeffrey Hutton, all of Hope Valley.
He also leaves a brother, Edward W.
Hutton and his wife, Mary Anne, of Raleigh, North Carolina and several nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Stephen Hutton.
Services will be held on Friday, April 22, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.
Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Pleasant Street, Pawtucket.
VISITATION will be held Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
