Jeffrey T. Coots

Pawtucket – Jeffrey T. Coots, 66, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 26, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Yvonne (L’Heureux) Coots for forty-eight years. Born in Bath, New York, he was the son of the late Howard “Gene” and Mary A. (Marvin) Coots. Jeffrey relocated to Rhode Island in 1980 and settled in Pawtucket with his family. He worked for General Cable, Lincoln, for thirty-five years prior to retiring. A lifelong New York Yankee’s fan, Jeffrey loved carpentry work and spending time with his family. Besides his wife, he is survived by two children, Tanya Coots and her husband, Michael, of Pawtucket and Jeffrey T. Coots, II and his fiancée, Kathy Dwight, of Kansas; five grandchildren, Haidyn, Domonic, Madyson, Andrew and Jackson; nine siblings, Robin, Terry Ann, Tim, Jon, Andy, Jodie, Jamie, Jean Marie and Linda Lou; a beloved cat, Sophie, and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
