Pawtucket – Jeannine L. (Trinque) Rondeau, 93, passed away surrounded by her loving family at the Jeanne Jugan Residence on Thursday, January 25, 2024.

She was the beloved wife of the late Normand Rondeau (co-owner of Breault’s Pharmacy).

Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Lucienne (Mathieu) Trinque.

Jeannine had been employed as a secretary for five years at the former St.

Jean Baptist Academy until it closed in 1975 and in the Guidance Department at St.

Raphael Academy for twenty years until retiring in 1995.

She was a parishioner of St.

John the Baptist Church where she was a member of the women’s guild and church choir.

She was a former member of the Royal Travelers with whom she enjoyed many day trips and long weekend trips.

She also enjoyed going to South Carolina twice a year to visit her daughter and granddaughter.

Jeannine had been a resident at the Little Sisters for the past thirteen years where she received the best possible care.

She enjoyed playing bingo, the monthly birthday parties and the entertainment at Little Sisters.

We are so grateful to the nuns, the 2nd floor staff and volunteers for watching over our mom and making her final years so beautiful and peaceful.

Jeannine leaves behind two daughters, Suzanne (Richard) Mailhot of Pawtucket and Louise (David) Pratt of North Charleston, South Carolina; a son, Paul (Joanne Meleedy) Rondeau of Bridgewater, New Hampshire; a sister-in-law, Yvette Rondeau of Yonkers, NY; a daughter-in-law, Carla Rondeau; a granddaughter, Jessica Pratt; two great-granddaughters, Aubree and Heidi and four step-grandchildren.

She was the mother of the late Denis Rondeau.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St.

John the Baptist Church, 68 Slater St., Pawtucket.

Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.

VISITATION will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the Little Sisters of the Poor, 964 Main St., Pawtucket, RI 02860 or St.

John the Baptist Church Restoration Fund, 69 Quincy Ave., Pawtucket, RI 02860 would be appreciated.
