Jeanne Gomes

Pawtucket – Jeanne (Langlois) Gomes, 91, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 14, 2024.

She was the beloved wife of the late Antonio S.

Gomes for fifty-six years.

Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late George and Anita (Marcil) Langlois.

Jeanne was a faithful communicant of St.

Cecilia Church, Pawtucket, and resided in the city for most of her life.

She relocated to Rumford in 2003, and worked as an administrative assistant for Brown University prior to retiring in 1995.

Jeanne enjoyed playing Bingo at Twin River Casino, Lincoln, and adored spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Diane M.

Gaj and her husband, John, of Pawtucket; two adoring grandchildren, Nicholas J.

Gaj and his wife, Alyson Catalan, of East Providence and Lauren J.

Gaj of Pawtucket, and two sisters-in-law, Sheila Langlois of Rumford and Dolores Gomes of Florida.

She was the sister of the late Pauline, George and Gerard Langlois.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 11:00 a.m. in St.

Cecilia Church of St.

John Paul II Parish, 755 Central Ave., Pawtucket.

Interment with her late husband will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, Daggett Ave., Pawtucket.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to HopeHealth Hospice and Palliative Care, 1085 N.

Main St., Providence, Rhode Island 02904 would be appreciated.
