Jean A. Miller

October 10, 1930 — July 12, 2023

Attleboro - Jean A. (Favino) Miller, 92, was greeted by her angels in Heaven on the evening of Wednesday, July 12, 2023.

She was born in Brooklyn, NY and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Maria (Pitocco) Favino.

She lost her father at the age of seven and was raised by her mother Maria and Aunt Rose.

Her father Joseph immigrated from Italy to New York and joined the United States Army where he was awarded the Purple Heart for being wounded in WWI.

At the age of 16 she began working at Trifari Jewelry to help support her family.

She married Alden “Al” D.

Miller in 1950 and began her own family.

Jean was a vibrant and loving woman.

Her family and friends meant the world to her, and she would do anything she could to help them.

Her heart was filled with love, joy, and immense gratitude even in her final moments.

As a devout Catholic, the power of prayer brought her the greatest comfort.

She embraced her Italian heritage and loved being gathered at the table eating and laughing with her family and friends.

She volunteered at the Amos House in Providence for many years and spent time line dancing with her friends for residents of nursing homes.

She loved her Red Sox and spent many nights watching the game on TV cheering for Yaz or Big Papi.

Nothing can fill the void she has left behind, but we are all comforted in knowing that she was surrounded by love and is now resting peacefully.

She is survived by her three daughters Kathy M.

Miller, Abby Miller (Dinah Wayne), and Donna A.

Miller, her younger brother Paul Favino and his wife Dawn, granddaughters Nina M.

Zielinski and Mackenzi J.

Stracqualursi and her husband, Anthony, nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous dear friends.

She is reunited with her late husband Alden, her parents Joseph and Maria, dear Aunt Rose, younger brother Frank Favino, and other loved ones.
