Jean Kacharo

North Providence – Jean (Impagliazzo) Kacharo, 84, passed away peacefully at home with family by her side on Tuesday, August 24, 2021.

She was the beloved wife of the late Spiro Kacharo.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Abramo and Anna Maria (Polito) Impagliazzo.

Jean had a career as a registered nurse and worked in many of the area’s nursing homes and hospitals.

She enjoyed traveling, especially to Italy with her late husband and family, reading, crocheting, and preparing delicious home cooked Italian and Greek meals for her family and friends to enjoy.

Jean was also an avid supporter and benefactor of St.

Jude Children’s Hospital.

Above all she was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who loved her family dearly.

Her memory will be cherished for generations to come.

Jean leaves a son, Steve A.

Kacharo of North Providence; a daughter, Dimitria M.

Monroe and her husband, Wayne, of Lincoln; four grandsons, Zachary, Kyle, Ryan, and Joshua Kacharo; a granddaughter, Megan Monroe; three great-granddaughters, Adrianna Kacharo, Kylee, and Lilah Poirier; several nieces and one nephew.

VISITATION will be held on Tuesday, August 31st from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. in Assumption of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church, 97 Walcott St., Pawtucket.

The Funeral Liturgy will follow at 11 a.m.

Flowers are respectfully omitted.
