Jasen Edward Garrity, Sr.

July 10, 1975 — July 24, 2025

Naples, FL – Jasen E.

Garrity, Sr., 50, formerly of Attleboro, MA, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 24, 2025.

He was the beloved husband of Robin (Robey) Garrity for thirty years.

Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Edward J., Sr. and Mary P. (Packer) Garrity.

In his younger years, Jay wasn’t a big fan of school, but he never missed a day - not because of the classes, but because he loved being around his friends.

He grew up riding his bike, going on camping trips with the family, spending summer weekends by the pool, and enjoying backyard barbecues.

As a teenager, he became more adventurous - working jobs, riding dirt bikes, fixing up cars, and throwing a few legendary keggers whenever his parents were out of town.

He had a natural talent for carpentry and woodworking and even taught his cousin John how to ride dirt bikes - passing on his passion, just like he always did.

As he got older, Jay found joy in the simple things like fishing from his boat, taking off on his four-wheeler with his kids, and coming up with wild, unforgettable adventures like building a potato rocket launcher, just for the fun of it.

But above all, what he loved most was riding his motorcycle and sharing time with the people who mattered most - his family and friends.

Whether it was catching fish or letting one go just to share the thrill, Jay lived for those moments of connection and excitement.

He was the kind of man who would give you the shirt off his back and maybe even the keys to his bike if you needed to feel the wind one more time.

Jay was loved by many.

The life of the party.

The guy who could make you laugh no matter how hard your day had been.

His smile could light up a room, and you always knew when he arrived.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two beloved sons, Jasen E.

Garrity, Jr. and his wife, Christina Sanchez of Fort Myers, FL and Justin Garrity of Naples, FL; a granddaughter, Amanda Sanchez of Fort Myers, FL; a great-grandson, Sutton Hilsee; a brother, Edward J.

Garrity, Jr. and his wife, Tomoko, of Manville; two nephews, Edward J.

Garrity, III of Hawaii and Kirk Garrity of Manville, and several other nieces and nephews.

He was the beloved twin brother of the late Joseph E.

Relatives and friends are welcome to join in procession on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at WILLIAM W.
