Narragansett, RI – Janice “Midge” M. (Lyle) Bray, 81, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 while in the compassionate care of the doctors, nurses and staff of Hope Hospice & Palliative Care Rhode Island, Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center in Providence.
She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Bray, Sr.
Born in Attleboro, she was the youngest of eight children of the late James A. and Agnes (Annetts) Lyle.
Midge worked for many years in the school lunch program in Massachusetts schools.
She and her late husband had resided in Rhode Island and Florida, and enjoyed playing Bocce and cards.
Together, Midge and Robert were “snow birds” for twenty-six years.
She leaves three sons, the late Raymond L.
Bray, Robert Bray, Jr. and Roger Bray, Sr. and his wife, Tara; seven grandchildren, Daniele Silva-Powell, Joshua Bray, Roger Bray, Jr., Shoshanna Ford, Sabrina Bray, Rothchild Bray and Zechariah Bray and ten great-grandchildren.
Graveside Services will be held Friday, June 16th at 1 p.m. at Saint Mary Cemetery, Towne Street, Attleboro Falls, Massachusetts.
Visitation and flowers are respectfully omitted.
