Janice P. Gale

Pawtucket – Janice P. (Paulhus) Gale, 71, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2018.

She was the beloved wife of the late Donald J.

Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Roland T. and Constance (Morin) Paulhus.

Janice was a graduate of St.

Clare High School, Woonsocket and later worked for many years as a telephone operator for the former New England Telephone Co. and more recently at AT&T until her retirement.

She enjoyed gardening and tending to her many flower beds, watching various television programs on the ID Channel and was a dedicated fan of both Wheel-of-Fortune and Jeopardy.

Janice loved spending time, with her beloved grandchildren and helping them with their homework and school projects.

She also enjoyed shopping, going to lunch and spending time with her sisters.

In her younger days, Janice enjoyed traveling and visiting exotic destinations with her late husband, Don.

Above all, she was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt.

Janice leaves her beloved daughter, Eryn L. (Reilly) Jennings and her husband, Christopher, of Coventry; seven grandchildren, Andrew Jennings of St.

Louis, MO, Kelsey, Allyson, Lauren, Christopher, Jr., Elizabeth and Sarah Jennings all of Coventry; two great-granddaughters, Gabrielle and Mykaila Steakley; two sisters, Denise Bloom of Woonsocket and Julie Jaras and her husband, Algis, of Highland Park, IL; two nephews; three nieces and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

VISITATION will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St.

Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.

Interment will take place on Monday, March 12, 2018 at Noon at Acushnet Cemetery, 67 Main St., Acushnet, MA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the Hasbro Children’s Hospital, P.O.

Box H, Providence, RI 02904 will be appreciated.
