Janice C. Blanchette

North Providence – Janice C. (Lowry) Blanchette, 78, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 7, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late Emile R. Blanchette. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late William F. and Elsie C. (Hultgren) Lowry. Janice worked as a pediatric registered nurse at Rhode Island Hospital for many years. She enjoyed spending time caring for her long-haired dachshunds. She is survived by a son, Matthew Blanchette of North Providence; a brother, Robert Lowry of Florida; one niece and one nephew. A graveside Service will be held on Monday at 1:00 p.m. in Swan Point Cemetery, 585 Blackstone Blvd., Providence. Visitation and floral tributes are respectfully omitted.
