Janet N. Jackson

Pawtucket – Janet N. (Delisle) Jackson, 84, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 16, 2016. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert S. Jackson. Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Adrienne Delisle. Janet was a longtime communicant of St. Cecilia Church. She enjoyed shopping and keeping close ties to her family and dear friends. Janet will be fondly remembered for her kindness and her sharp wit. She leaves her lifelong best-friend, Claire Desmarais; two brothers, Gerald and Henry Delisle and several beloved nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Lillian Guilfoyle. Her funeral will be held on Saturday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in the Church of St. Leo the Great, 699 Central Ave. Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
