Pawtucket – Janet L. (Bradley) Klaameyer, 71, passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2018.
She was the beloved wife of John E.
Klaameyer and the late Thomas H.
A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late James E. and Mary (Clayton) Bradley.
Janet was a graduate of Tolman High School and worked for Hindley Manufacturing, Cumberland, in data processing for the past 41 years.
She was a longtime member of the Smithfield Avenue Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, where she served as a Deacon and Prayer Coordinator.
Janet was also a past-chairman of the church’s Deaconate Board.
Above all, she was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and dear friend, who enjoyed life’s simple pleasures and spending summer days with her loving husband, John and her best friend, Anne Grady at East Beach in Westport, MA.
Besides her beloved husband, Janet leaves a son, Matthew T.
Small of Pawtucket, three step-children, Lisa Klaameyer and her fiancé, James Dunlay of Westwood, MA, Joanne Klaameyer of Pawtucket and Jeffrey Klaameyer and his wife, Erica, of Providence; a granddaughter, Savannah Klaameyer; a sister, Lois Small and her husband, Garry, of Westport, MA and several beloved nieces and nephews.
In addition to her late husband and parents, Janet was predeceased by her beloved aunt, Ruth Clayton.
Relatives and friends are welcome to attend Services on Monday at 11 a.m. in the Smithfield Avenue Congregational Church, 514 Smithfield Ave., Pawtucket.
Interment at Oak Grove Cemetery will follow.
Calling hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.
Memorial gifts to the Smithfield Avenue Congregational Church will be appreciated.
