Janet R. Champagne

Rumford – Janet Rita (Viens) Champagne, 89, passed away on Friday, October 9, 2026. She was the loving wife of the late Ronald J. Champagne. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Cora (Dion) Viens.

Janet was a parishioner of St. Margaret Church in Rumford and enjoyed gardening and doing yardwork.

She leaves behind her beloved children, Denise L. Costa (Thomas) of Rumford and Roger A. Champagne (Lynne) of Florida, her brother, Eugene J. Viens of Lincoln, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The Funeral will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at 9:00AM from the WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave, Pawtucket with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00AM at St. Margaret Church, 1098 Pawtucket Ave, Rumford. Interment will be private.

Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday, October 19, 2026, from 5:00PM-7:00PM.
