Zora, 91, of North Palm Beach, Florida, formerly of South Attleboro, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2016.
He was the beloved husband of the late Rhoda Carter Zora and the loving father of Carol Hubbs (husband Donald) of Vero Beach, FL, Glenn Zora (wife Kathryn) of Reston, VA, Joan Begin (husband Jon) of North Palm Beach, FL and Russell Zora (wife Pamala) of Bartlesville, OK; brother of Ruth Briden and the late Grace Binford, John Zora, Doris Hall, Frances Justice, and Nancy Cooper.
Zora was also blessed with six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
James was born in Providence, RI and served on the USS Purdy in the Pacific during World War II.
He was a longtime member of Church of the Good Shepherd and worked at John Hancock until his retirement.
James also served as a Police Commissioner in Attleboro, MA.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Services on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Church of the Good Shepherd, 490 Broadway, Pawtucket.
Burial will be private.
VISITATION will be Tuesday 4 to 7 p.m. at WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.
Flowers are respectfully omitted.
