James T. Walters

Cumberland – James T. Walters, 78, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 19, 2013. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Herbert and Dorothy (Pellow) Walters. Jim served in the U.S. Navy and then worked for the former Eastern Airlines until his retirement. He leaves a nephew, Robert Fortin and his wife, Barbara and two nieces, Robin Loffler and Lesley Carr. He was the grand-uncle of Ryan, Jessica and Abigail Carr and Sydney Loffler. He was the brother of the late Dorothy Fortin and uncle of the late Sylvia Fortin. Services will be held Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the Historic Swan Point Chapel, 585 Blackstone Blvd., Providence. Visitation and flowers are respectfully omitted.
