Seekonk – James H. Taylor, 79, passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2017. He was the beloved husband of Judith A. (Dupee) Taylor for 57 years. Born in Fitchburg, MA, he was the son of the late Philip and Irene M. (Robin) Taylor. James served in the Rhode Island Army National Guard and worked as a tool maker for Leach Garner, North Attleboro for 17 years until retiring in 2001. He was previously employed by Bassler Co., Attleboro for twenty two years. James was a longtime member of the Cumberland Beagle Club, where he was a High Power Rifle Competitor. Besides his beloved wife, he leaves a son, Scott J. Taylor of Seekonk; a daughter, Jill D. Lewis and her husband, Gary, of Phoenix, AZ; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services will be held at a later date. Flowers and visitation are respectfully omitted. Memorial gifts to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123 will be appreciated.
