O’Donnell, 78, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, January 5, 2017.
He was the beloved husband of Barbara A. (Lapham) O’Donnell for sixty years.
A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Harold A. and Mary K. (Barry) O’Donnell.
Jim was the proprietor for thirty-one years of the former Woodlawn Fish & Chip, Main St., Pawtucket, where he was known as “The Mayor of Woodlawn”.
Most recently, he was a Realtor with Century 21, Stachurski Agency for twenty-two years until retiring in 2014, and was previously a cook at Rhode Island College.
Jim had owned horses and was an avid horse racing fan.
He was very active in Darlington American Little League Baseball and was the coach of Tom Shamrocks in the 1970's.
Jim enjoyed all sports, especially football.
But most of all, he loved watching his grandchildren playing all sports.

O’Donnell of North Providence, Joseph B.
O’Donnell of Errol, NH and Cumberland and Bethany A.
Dunphy and her husband, Edward, of Seekonk; three siblings, Eleanor Kerr and her husband, Gerald of Jamestown, David H.
O’Donnell and his wife, Barbara of Florida and Judith Jamieson and her husband, Robert, of Cincinnati; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
His funeral will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St.
Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave.
Interment will follow at Mt.
VISITATION will be Tuesday 4 to 7 p.m.
