Pawtucket – James P. McIntyre, 85, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, February 2, 2015. He was the beloved husband of Margaret M. (Holleran) McIntyre for 61 years. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Robert, Sr. and Anna (McGeough) McIntyre. Jim was a retired surveyor for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, a Korean War U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Knights of Columbus, Delaney Council. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, upholding family traditions at his summer home in Point Judith. Jim was very handy, he enjoyed carpentry and working on various projects at his and his family’s homes.
