James E. Mccartin

Pawtucket – James E. McCartin, 83, passed on Friday, December 31, 2021. Born in Providence, a son of the late Francis and Alice (Roach) McCartin, he resided in Pawtucket most of his life. Jim proudly served in the United States Navy. He and his late brother had been the proprietors of a local painting company. He leaves two daughters, Marilyn McCartin and Candice McCartin; four grandchildren, Steven Jardin, Tony Spano, Brittany Jardin and Rebecca Gregoire; three great-granddaughters, Dakota, Kylie and Olivia Gregoire and many nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Bonnie McCartin and the brother of the late Frank, Robert and Thomas McCartin. VISITATION will begin on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at 3 p.m. followed by Services at 4 p.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP FUNERAL HOME, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.
