James R. Martin

Cranston – James R. Martin, 71, passed away at home Wednesday, July 27, 2011. He was the beloved husband of D. Dianne (Salomon) Martin. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Raymond and Julia (Garbecki) Martin. James served in the US Army and was a mail handler for the US Postal Service. Besides his wife, he leaves three children, Kevin Martin of Sterling, CT, Keith Martin of Washington, D.C., and Debra Martin of Lexington, MA; one grandson, Kyle Martin and three brothers, Raymond, Joseph and David Martin. His funeral with Military Honors will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Ann Church, 1493 Cranston St., Cranston. Interment will follow at St. Ann Cemetery.
