James "Jim" M. Peirce

Johnston – James “Jim” M.

Peirce, 63, formerly of Pawtucket, passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2019 surrounded by his family.

He was the husband of Joan M. (Albright) Peirce.

Born in Attleboro, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Leonard F. and MaryJane (Connors) Peirce.

Jim worked as a truck driver for Tech Transportation, Pawtucket, for many years.

A handyman himself, he was a jack-of-all-trades, master of none.

Jim enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle and was actively involved with the local car races.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Melissa Oliver and her husband, Lake, of Danielson, CT and Kelly Bishop and her husband, Keith, of Johnston; five grandchildren, Ashley, Dylan, Brook, Colin and Ruby; two great-grandchildren, Avery and Olivia; four siblings, Lori-Lynn Peirce of Seekonk, MA, Thomas Peirce and his wife, Annette, of VA, Gary Peirce and his wife, Doreen, of Lincoln and Marc Peirce of Seekonk, MA and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday beginning at 4:00 p.m. followed by a Service at 6:00 p.m. in William W.

Tripp Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.

Burial will be private.
