Pawtucket – James G. Karneeb, 89, passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2014. He was the beloved husband of Edith (Farrington) Karneeb for fifty-eight years. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Thomas and Josephine (Teebagy) Karneeb. Jim was a World War II U.S. Army veteran. He was employed by Health-Tex, Central Falls and Cumberland for over forty years before retiring as a Distribution Manager in 1983. Jim was a fifty year member of Jenks Lodge No. 24; Past Patron of Queen Esther Chapter No. 2, Order of the Eastern Star; Grand Order of the Sword of Bunker Hill, Gaspee Order No. 99, Providence; Rhode Island Shriners and an avid golfer. Besides his wife, he leaves a daughter, Lynn H. Karneeb of Pawtucket; a sister, Gloria Farrington of Richmond; a brother, Joseph Karneeb of Warwick and nieces and nephews.
