Pawtucket – James “Bud” H. Barrowclough, 95, formerly of Crescent Road, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2015 at the Miriam Hospital. He was born May 17, 1919 and lived his entire life on Crescent Road. He is predeceased by his parents, James H. and Ida A. (Mitchell) Barrowclough; his siblings, Ruth E. Barrowclough, Frederick E. Barrowclough and Dorothy B. Creelman and his lifelong companion, Helen Conlon. Bud served in the U.S. Navy for 3 years during World War II. He saw a lot of action during this time in the South Pacific. Bud drove a landing craft into several South Pacific invasions. He was a machinist at Okonite for 38 years until retiring in 1986.
