James "Bud" E. Halliday, Jr.

Pawtucket – James “Bud” E. Halliday, Jr., 89, passed away Friday, January 6, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Pauline R. (Lussier) Halliday, they were married for sixty-four years. Born in Providence, a son of the late James E. and Ruth (Gray) Halliday, he resided in Pawtucket since 1947. Bud was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran. He was a salesman for Table Talk Pies for over 30 years until his retirement. Bud was an avid golfer. Besides his wife, he leaves three sons, James E. Halliday, III, Michael J. Halliday and Thomas M. Halliday; a daughter, Patricia P. Andrade; three grandchildren, Stephen, Emily and John and a sister, Janet Gagnon. He was the brother of the late Sister Mary Halliday. VISITATION will begin Monday at 9 a.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.
