Bradshaw, a lifelong resident of Pawtucket, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2020 at the age of 81.
He was the loving and devoted father of Lory Haggas and her spouse, Eddie, Vicki Robtoy and her spouse, Wayne and John Bradshaw and his spouse, Wendy.
Proud grandpa to, Jocelyn and James Wilson, Ashley and Courtney Haggas and great-grandpa to Aaliyah Wilson.
He was once married to Loretta Bradshaw with whom he had his three children.
He served in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany for two years.
He had a career in construction with H.
Carr & Sons until retiring.
In his younger years, he enjoyed bowling, quahogging, fishing, planting a garden, off track betting and helping family and friends.
He helped to raise two of his grandchildren until they were school aged.
In his later years, after being diagnosed with dementia, he attended Living Well Adult Daycare Center and was loved by all who met him.
He also enjoyed sitting outside with his neighborhood friends.
James was the third youngest of eighteen children born to the late Joseph and Irene (Jacob) Bradshaw.
Brother to his late siblings: Harold, Richard, Joseph, Russell, George, William, Raymond, Francis, Andrew and Donald Bradshaw, Rita Marland, Doris Cummings, Dorothy Standring and Mary Bradshaw.
He leaves three remaining siblings, Leo Bradshaw, Claire Bradshaw and Carl Bradshaw.
Relatives and friends are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in St.
Cecilia Church, 755 Central Ave., Pawtucket.
Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery. (Social Distancing and face masks/coverings will be required per State of RI Health Department Regulations) Visitation and flower are respectfully omitted.
