Jacqueline Shea

Pawtucket – Jacqueline Marie-Therese (Ledoux) Shea, 89, passed away on Friday, June 9, 2023.

She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph R.

Shea for fifty-one years.

Born in Bellingham, MA, she was the daughter of the late Ambroise and Beatrice (Deguire) Ledoux and was the sister of the late Andre Ledoux.

She graduated from Presentation of Mary Academy in Nashua, NH and Milford Hospital Nursing School in Milford, MA.

In her career as a registered nurse, she worked at the Heywood Wakefield Furniture Company, Woonsocket Hospital and the Manchester Nursing Home.

She completed her career with the State of Massachusetts at Framingham Hospital and Tewksbury State Hospital.

Jacqueline volunteered with the Visiting Nurses Association and RI Hospice for 10 years.

She also enjoyed  camping, traveling, quilting and sewing at the Y.W.C.A.

Jacqueline was a longtime parishioner of St.

Teresa Church in Pawtucket.

She is survived by two daughters, Rosemary J.

Shea of Pawtucket and Deborah A.

Shea of New York, NY, as well as her sisters-in-law, many cousins and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. from WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St.

Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.

Interment with her late husband will follow at St.

Jean the Baptist Cemetery, Bellingham, MA.

Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations are welcomed in her name at the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, 28 West 44th Street, Suite 609, New York, NY 10036 or plant a tree to support the environment.

Au cours de sa carrière d'infirmière autorisée, elle a travaillé à la Heywood Wakefield Furniture Company, à l'Hôpital Woonsocket et à la Residence de Manchester en Pawtucket.

Elle a terminé sa carrière dans l'État du Massachusetts à l'Hôpital Framingham et à l'Hôpital d'État de Tewksbury.

Jacqueline a fait du bénévolat auprès de la Visiting Nurses Association et du RI Hospice pendant 10 ans.

Elle aimait aussi la courtepointe et la couture au Y.W.C.A., ainsi que le camping et les voyages.

Jacqueline était une paroissienne de l'église St.

Elle laisse deux filles, Rosemary J.

Shea de Pawtucket et Deborah A.

Shea de New York, NY, ainsi que sa belle-sœurs, de nombreux cousins ??et de nombreuses nièces et neveux bien-aimés.

Ses funérailles auront lieu le samedi à 9h00 à la maison funéraire WILLIAM W.

TRIPP, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, suivies d'une messe d'inhumation chrétienne à 10h00 à l'église St.

Teresa, 358 Newport Ave.

L'inhumation avec son défunt mari suivra au cimetière Saint-Jean-Baptiste, Bellingham, MA.

Les heures d'appel auront lieu le vendredi de 16 h 00 à 19 h 00.
