Jacqueline Shea

Pawtucket – Jacqueline Marie-Therese (Ledoux) Shea, 89, passed away on Friday, June 9, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph R. Shea for fifty-one years. Born in Bellingham, MA, she was the daughter of the late Ambroise and Beatrice (Deguire) Ledoux and was the sister of the late Andre Ledoux. She graduated from Presentation of Mary Academy in Nashua, NH and Milford Hospital Nursing School in Milford, MA. In her career as a registered nurse, she worked at the Heywood Wakefield Furniture Company, Woonsocket Hospital and the Manchester Nursing Home. She completed her career with the State of Massachusetts at Framingham Hospital and Tewksbury State Hospital. Jacqueline volunteered with the Visiting Nurses Association and RI Hospice for 10 years. She also enjoyed  camping, traveling, quilting and sewing at the Y.W.C.A. Jacqueline was a longtime parishioner of St. Teresa Church in Pawtucket. She is survived by two daughters, Rosemary J.
