Seekonk – Irene M. (Robin) Taylor, 102, passed away Friday, May 6, 2011. She was the beloved wife of the late Philip Taylor to whom she was married for 54 years at the time of his death in 1989. Mrs. Taylor was born in Fall River, Massachusetts on November 23, 1908 to the late Jean B. and Lucie (Talbot) Robin. She resided in Seekonk since 1954. Mrs. Taylor was a parishioner of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs (formerly St. Mary’s Church) in Seekonk. She enjoyed photography and painting in her younger years. Mrs. Taylor was an excellent cook, seamstress and decorator, and could often been seen working in her yard. She leaves one son, James H. Taylor and his wife Judith of Seekonk; two grandchildren, Scott Taylor of Seekonk and Jill Lewis of Phoenix, Arizona; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Julien Robin, Eva Robin, Estelle Gingras, Louise Robin and Gerard Robin. A private funeral will be held from the WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral...
