Irene D. O'Donnell

Pawtucket – Irene D. (LeMieux) O’Donnell, 98, passed away on Friday, June 7, 2024. She was the beloved wife of the late Leo A. O’Donnell. Born in Swansea, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Arthur J. and Dora (Vaudreuil) LeMieux.  Irene worked for many years as an office manager for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. She was a longtime parishioner at St. Cecilia Church (St. John Paul II Parish) in Pawtucket where she also volunteered in the St. Cecilia School reading center. In addition to her dedication to the church and parish school, Irene volunteered at Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed knitting various items for her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and family friends.  Irene will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives she has touched over the past ninety-eight years.  Irene leaves two daughters, Doreen O.
