Pawtucket – Irene D. (LeMieux) O’Donnell, 98, passed away on Friday, June 7, 2024.

She was the beloved wife of the late Leo A.

Born in Swansea, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Arthur J. and Dora (Vaudreuil) LeMieux.

Irene worked for many years as an office manager for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company.

She was a longtime parishioner at St.

John Paul II Parish) in Pawtucket where she also volunteered in the St.

Cecilia School reading center.

In addition to her dedication to the church and parish school, Irene volunteered at Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) for many years.

In her free time, she enjoyed knitting various items for her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and family friends.

Irene will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives she has touched over the past ninety-eight years.

Irene leaves two daughters, Doreen O.

Haas and her husband, Paul, of Salem, Connecticut, and Diane G.

Partridge and her husband, Scott, of Swansea, Massachusetts; three grandchildren, Catherine Jalowiec and her husband, Ryan, of El Paso, Texas, Bailey Elliott and her husband, Ryan, of Oakdale, Connecticut and Morgan Partridge of Swansea, Massachusetts and her fiancé, Zach Cheng, of Bloomington, Illinois; four great-grandchildren, John, Mackenzie and Keara Jalowiec and Grant Elliott.

The funeral will be held on Thursday, June 20th at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St.

Cecilia Church of St.

John Paul II Parish, 755 Central Ave., Pawtucket.

Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.

VISITATION will be held on Wednesday, June 19th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to St.

Cecilia School, 755 Central Ave., Pawtucket, RI 02861 would be appreciated.
