Irene Theresa Lynch

Lynch, cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and partner, passed away peacefully and surrounded by love on February 13, 2025, at the age of 87.

She was the beloved wife of the late Robert W.

Lynch, to whom she had been married for 42 years.

Born on December 16, 1937, Irene lived a life full of love, laughter, and treasured moments with her family.

Born in Pawtucket, Irene was the daughter of the late August and Mary (Mickewicz) Zuromski and the sister of the late Walter, Stanley, Benjamin and John Zuromski and sister, Stella Gaj.

Irene leaves behind her beloved daughters Patti (John) Harwood, Kristen (Scott) Feeley, and her son Rob (Gina) Lynch.

Irene was also blessed with and adored by her nine grandchildren: John, Kylie (Chris Huxley), Lindsay, and Olivia Harwood; Kelsey, Caroline and Benjamin Feeley; Robert (Nicole) Fontaine and Chloe Lynch.

Irene was a loving Baci to her great-grandchildren Sophia and Jack Huxley, and Jaxson Fontaine.

She also leaves behind her beloved partner of twenty years, Donald McNeil, who provided unwavering care and support for Irene in her later years.

Irene’s greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, and she delighted in every moment with them, especially weekly family dinners and their summer trips to Nantucket.

Irene had a passion for shopping, always drawn to the treasures at her favorite consignment store—so much so that she was asking to go there until her very last day.

She also loved the simple pleasures in life: feeling the ocean breeze on the beach, gathering with loved ones for a meal, and sipping on a margarita or mudslide while sharing stories and laughter.

Irene’s love, warmth, and adventurous spirit will forever be remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing her and she will be missed beyond measure.

Visitation will be held at WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket on Tuesday from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St.

Raymond’s Church, 1240 No.

Main St., Providence on Wednesday at 10a.m.

Please meet directly at the Church.

Interment will follow at Swan Point Cemetery, Blackstone Blvd., Providence.
