Irene M. Gagne

Pawtucket – Irene M. (Kaloostian) Gagne, 71, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2011. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Laura (Finley) Kaloostian. Irene was a Licensed Practical Nurse at Heritage Park YMCA, Pawtucket for the past 10 years, and was previously employed by Harvard Pilgrim Health for 10 years and Cranston General Hospital for 35 years. She was a member of the Rhode Island School Nurses Association. She leaves five children, Rene J. Gagne, II and his wife Sarah, Robert L. and Ronald S. Gagne, Susan M. Gagne-Rego and her husband Nelson and Sherrie L. Barbosa and her husband Frank; a brother, Leon Kaloostian; nine grandchildren and five step-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Christopher J. Gagne. Her funeral will be held Monday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in the Church of St. Leo the Great, 697 Central Ave., Pawtucket. Interment will follow at Notre...
