Irene L. Connors

Pawtucket – Irene L. (Deschenes) Connors, 80, passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2021.

She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph E.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Rose (Languedoc) Deschenes.

Irene worked as a secretary at Miriam Hospital, Providence, for over thirty years prior to her retirement.

An avid reader, Irene enjoyed vacationing with her late husband in Naples, FL and dining out.

She loved being surrounded by her family and her heart would sing in the presence of babies and children.

She is survived by a son, David J.

Connors and his wife, Helen, of Seekonk, MA; a stepson, Stephen Connors of Florida; five grandchildren, Shawn Connors, Kaitlyn Connors, Brandon Hall, Tessa Hall and Joseph Connors; several great-grandchildren; a sister, Rita Tweedly of Cumberland; her daughter-in-law, Shirley Hall of West Virginia and many nieces and nephews.

She was the mother of the late Robert E. and Michael Hall, stepmother of the late Joseph M.

Connors and sister of the late Jeannette Scungio.

David and Helen would like to thank Sheree Desmarais for her loving care towards Irene over the years.

Visitation will be held on Friday beginning at 10:30 a.m. followed by Services at 12:00 p.m. in WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.

Interment with her late husband will follow at Mount St.

Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.
