Florence, SC – Irene C. (Bergeron) Allard, 95, of Florence, SC, formerly of Cumberland, passed away at home on Thursday, July 3, 2014.
She was the beloved wife of the late Jean-Paul Allard.
Born in Central Falls, a daughter of the late Edouard and Amanda (LaRoche) Bergeron, she resided in Cumberland for forty years before moving to South Carolina in 1990.
Irene was a sales clerk at Ann & Hope, Cumberland before retiring in 1980.
She leaves her daughter, Pauline R.
Fowler with whom she made her home; four grandchildren, David R.
Labbe in Utah, Christopher M.
Pippin and Kathryn T.
Labbe all in South Carolina; two great-grandsons, Thomas Pippin and Preston Pippin; several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Marianne Boisvert, Lillian Allard, Marie-Ange Upton, Roland Bergeron and Armand Bergeron.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St.
Cecilia Church, 755 Central Ave.
Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
VISITATION will be Tuesday 4 to 7 p.m.
