Iolanda S. Santos

Pawtucket – Iolanda S. (Silva) Santos, 76, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 23, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Ronald Santos. Born in Brava, Cape Verde, she was the daughter of the late Antonio R. Silva and Rosa M. Santiago. Iolanda immigrated to the United States in 1964 and settled in Pawtucket where she raised her family. She worked for Rhode Island Hospital, Providence, for thirty years prior to retiring in 2011. Iolanda was a faithful communicant of St. Teresa Church and participated in prayers with The Legion of Mary community. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting and spending time with her family. She is survived by three children, Kevin C. Santos and his companion, Kristen Johnson of Charleston, SC, Dennis Santos and his wife, Stephanie Lang, of Hoboken, NJ and Eva Torres and her husband, Erazmo, of Foster; nine grandchildren, Austin Santos, Gabriella Torres, Maya Santos, Alexis Santos, Aaliyah Torres, Gianna Torres, Valentina Santos, Elijah Torres and...
