Horacio Almeida

Pawtucket – Horacio Almeida, 73, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2011. He was the beloved husband of Rosa (Cabral) Almeida for 42 years. Born in Portugal, a son of the late Joaquim and Maria (Patrocino) Almeida, he resided in Pawtucket for 33 years. Horacio was employed by American Insulated Wire Company. He enjoyed hunting game and rabbit. Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Joe C. Almeida and his wife Melissa and two grandchildren, Adam J. and Emily R. Almeida all of Pawtucket; three brothers, Lidio, Joao and Arturo Almeida; a sister, Adelaide Santos and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Antonio and Maria deLuz Almeida. VISITATION will begin Wednesday at 9 a.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11a.m. in the Church of St. Leo the Great, 697 Central Ave., Pawtucket. Interment will follow at Mt.
