Attleboro – Henry “Hank” V. Genest, 68, formerly of Greenfield St., Seekonk, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 4, 2014. Born in Quebec, Canada, he was a son of the late Henry J. and Nellie M. (Penney) Genest. Hank was a United States Navy veteran of the Vietnam War and was the proprietor of Hank’s Garage on Case St., Seekonk for many years. He enjoyed spoiling his nieces and nephews, taking them out to dinner often and teaching them how to fish and boat. Hank leaves a daughter, Ruth Genest-Fox in Florida; a grandchild; three siblings, Carl Penney of Newfoundland, Canada, Shirley Allard of South Attleboro, MA and Edward Genest of Hyannis, MA and many beloved nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Burial with Military Honors will follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA.
