Helen L. Markley

Pawtucket – Helen L. Markley, 90, passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2016. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Simon P. and Delia (Kett) Markley. Helen worked as a payroll clerk at Valley Gas Co., Cumberland, for 46 years until her retirement in 1986. She was a member of the St. Teresa Seniors and Valley Gas Retirees Association. Helen leaves twelve beloved nephews and nieces and many grandnephews and grandnieces. She was the sister of the late Mary Tierney, Arthur Markley, Joseph Markley and James Markley. VISITATION will begin on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at the CHEETHAM Funeral Home, 1012 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave. Interment will follow at Mount Saint Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.
