Pawtucket - Helen Rita (Riendeau) Lunardelli. 98, was a beacon of light, generosity, and enduring love for her extended family and many friends. She passed peacefully on April 27, 2014 surrounded by loved ones. Born and raised on Vine Street in the Darlington section of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, she was the daughter of the late Lena Purcell and Marcell Riendeau. She was the beloved sister of ten siblings, all of whom she survived including the equally devastating and prideful loss of her youngest brother, Raymond Riendeau, Army Ranger Corporal (T/5), who was killed on D-Day off Omaha Beach in Normandy on June 6, 1944. Married for 56 years to the love of her life, Joseph A. Lunardelli, Sr. who passed in 1992, they raised two children on Columbus Ave. in Pawtucket, where she was a near lifelong resident. She was the loving mother of the late Robbi DiSarro and is survived by her son, Joseph A. Lunardelli, Jr. and his wife, Patricia of Warwick.
