Helen L. Burak

North Dighton, Massachusetts - Helen L. (Chicoine) Burak, 89, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2015. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael Burak. Born in Lincoln, a daughter of the late Joseph and Marie (Dubois) Chicoine, she resided in Cumberland before moving to North Dighton, Massachusetts nine years ago. Helen enjoyed painting and crocheting, and loved cats. She leaves a son, Chester D. Burak and his wife, Jennifer of North Dighton, Massachusetts with whom she made her home; three grandchildren, Jennifer Cecconi, Kristopher Burak, Jayson Burak and his wife, Kristen; two great-grandchildren, Jack Cecconi and Stefanie Cecconi and several nieces including Lucille Trahan of Rumford. She was the mother of the late George Burak and Richard Burak. VISITATION will begin Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the CHEETHAM Funeral Home, 1012 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon in St. Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.
