Attleboro - Hazel M. (Higginbotham) Griffin, 95, passed away Friday, August 19, 2011. She was the beloved wife of the late Milton A. Griffin. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Sarah Jane (Corbishley) Higginbotham. Hazel resided in Seekonk most of her life before moving to Attleboro eighteen years ago. She was a volunteer at Sturdy Memorial Hospital for many years, and was an accomplished homemaker. Hazel was active for many years at the former Hebron Baptist Church, now Memorial Baptist Church, Seekonk, where she served as a Sunday School Teacher, organist and choir member. Hazel leaves three children and their spouses, Alan “Lanny” Griffin and his wife Carolyn of Lincoln, Nebraska, Ronald Griffin and his wife Dolores of Lincoln, Rhode Island and Karen Perry and her husband Henry of Seekonk, Massachusetts; five grandchildren, Troy, Tammy, Patty, Kerri and Laura and ten great-grandchildren.
