Harvey C. Mercier

East Providence - Harvey C.

Mercier, 90, formerly of Riverside, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2017.

He was the beloved husband of the late Rita R. (Gauthier) Mercier.

Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Charles and Bernice B. (Beaumont) Mercier.

Harvey was a World War II U.S.

He was formerly employed by Cumberland Farms as an inventory control manager.

Harvey was a communicant of St.

Philip Church, Greenville, and enjoyed playing Bocce with the Smithfield Seniors.

He leaves two sons, Kevin and Robert Mercier; a daughter, Suzanne Meyer; his caregiver and companion for the past six years, Virginia; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

He was the father of the late Patricia Fucilli and the brother of the late Florence Morgan.

VISITATION will begin Friday at 9 a.m. at WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St.

Thomas Church, 65 Fruit Hill Ave., Providence.

Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
