Pawtucket – Harry Wild, 84, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 24, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Phyllis C. (Saulino) Wild for sixty-one years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Harry and Annie (Wigglesworth) Wild. Harry grew up in Pawtucket and graduated from Tolman High School in 1958. He worked at the former Evening Times, Pawtucket, and later retired from the Boston Herald, Boston, MA. After retirement, Harry worked with Meals on Wheels, delivering food to those in need and never missed a day. He spent the summer months on Lake Winnipesaukee, New Hampshire, where he enjoyed time on his boat with family and doing DIY projects to his home. Harry loved singing and showcased his talents singing the national anthem for the Boston Celtics in Providence, and for the PawSox at the former McCoy Stadium, Pawtucket.
