Harriet F. Madden

Seekonk – Harriet F. (Pearce) Madden, 83, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2016.

She was the beloved wife of the late Ernest M.

Born in Seekonk, she was the daughter of the late Edward S. and Ethel (Denton) Pearce.

Harriet worked as a secretary at the former Balfour and Robbins in Attleboro.

She was a member at the Memorial Baptist Church.

Harriet thoroughly enjoyed gardening and spending time with her loving family.

She is survived by her three children, Sandra Barbour and her husband Joseph D’Almeida of Rehoboth, Judy Brown and her husband Christopher of Barrington, RI and Ernie Madden, Jr. and his wife Debbie of Ashland, NH; eight grandchildren, Kim Sellers, Chris Madden, Katie Madden, Becca James, Ryan Madden, Jonathan Brown, Tyler Brown and Austin Madden; six great-grandchildren and two sisters, Dorothea Novak of CA and Virginia Gaudette of TX.

She was predeceased by seven siblings, Marilyn Precourt, Muriel Martino, Louise, Ruth, Edward, Howard and Arlene Pearce.

A memorial service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. in the Memorial Baptist Church, 340 Central Ave., Seekonk.

Interment will be private.
