Providence – Harold F. Yahn, Jr. (Skip), 78, passed away on Easter Sunday, April 9, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Paula F. (Brosseau) Yahn for forty years. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Henry and Irene (Allen) Alberti. Harold (Skip) served his country over twenty years beginning in the United States Navy, United States Air Force and most recently in the United States Army. He also was also a retired lieutenant for the State of Rhode Island Department of Corrections. In his free time, Harold (Skip) was an avid reader and enjoyed reading novels by Tom Clancy and Dale Brown. Besides his loving wife, Harold (Skip) leaves four sons, Kevin Yahn, Neil Yahn, Eric Yahn, and Kenneth Smith; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter, Cheryl Smith, all of his siblings. Services with Military Honors at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter will be private.
