Harold E. Doran

Harold E. Doran, 85November 24, 1929 – September 13, 2015Seekonk -Harold E. Doran passed away peacefully on September 13, 2015 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Center surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife Joan B. (Karpowich) Doran to whom he has been married for 53 years. Born in Pawtucket, RI he was the son of the late Bernard F. Doran and the late Marie T (Morris) Doran. He has been a resident of Seekonk, MA at a home he built and a yard he manicured to perfection for the past 36 years.He was the owner of Doran’s Photography Studio for over 40 years and was an accomplished wedding photographer. He worked for many years for American Insulated Wire Corp, Pawtucket, as a Supervisor in charge of Tool & Die Design; receiving his formal training at Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). He was President of Local 1203 International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (I.B.E.W.) for over 25 years.
