Rehoboth – Hormidas Lindor “Lindy” Salois, 98, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, July 27, 2017. He was the husband of the late Dorothy H. (Read) Salois, who predeceased him in 2013, for sixty-three years. Born in St. David, Canada, he was the son of the late Emile and Mariane (Crevier) Salois; he resided in Pawtucket before moving to Rehoboth in 1962. A member of the Darlington Congregational Church for over sixty years, Lindy was a faithful usher for over forty years and had served in that capacity until recently. He had proudly served as an Army medic; was, among other occupations, the former owner of Lindy’s Photo, where he met his late wife; and was known by the family for his ability to repair anything around the house. He leaves two daughters, Linda D. Sherman of Taunton and Carol E. Estrella of Baird, Texas; twin sons, Michael G. Salois and his wife Karen of Rehoboth and Daniel R.
