Pawtucket – Gordon H.
Colomy, 54, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 28, 2021.
Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Jerome H., Sr., and Dorothy (Herring) Colomy.
Gordon graduated from Charles E.
Shea High School, Pawtucket, in 1988 and was a lifelong resident of the city.
He lived his life to the fullest and possessed beautiful, innocent qualities while living with Down syndrome.
Gordon loved to dance, listen to music, and especially enjoyed watching the Beatles perform on television.
Although he was non-verbal, his presence had an incredible impact and would light any room he entered.
He is survived by three siblings, Jerome H.
Colomy, Jr., who oversaw Gordon’s care and resided with him his entire life, Les Colomy and his wife, Ann, of Lewiston, ME and Sharon Zarzycki and her husband, Michael, of Rehoboth; three nephews, Mike and Nick Colomy of ME and Dan Zarzycki and his wife, Ashley, of Brighton; a niece, Katrina Kochanek and her husband, Mike, of Rehoboth and a great-niece, Millie.
He was the brother-in-law of the late Anita Colomy.
Private interment will be in the family plot at Newell Burying Ground, Attleboro.
Visitation and floral tributes are respectfully omitted.
