Mooney, 64, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family after a long illness on Wednesday, June 21, 2017.
He was the beloved husband of Marilyn (Carroll) Mooney for forty years.
Born in Cranston, a son of Lorraine H. (Hammane) Mooney of Cumberland and the late Francis T.
Mooney, he resided in Cumberland before moving to Attleboro over thirty-five years ago.
Glenn held managerial positions in several hard goods stores.
When he became ill, Glenn set several goals and was able to reach these milestones.
He was able to obtain his Master’s Degree in Business from Johnson and Wales University; attend all of his children’s graduations from High School and College; attend his two daughter’s weddings and spend time with his four grandchildren.
Besides his wife and mother, he leaves two daughters, Meredith C.
Robinson and her husband, Matthew, and Allison K.
Howes and her husband, Justin, all of Attleboro; a son, Nicholas G.
Mooney of Attleboro; two brothers, Robert Mooney of Cumberland and David Mooney and his wife, Debra, of Lincoln; four grandchildren, Parker Robinson, Keegan Robinson, Annalise Robinson and Gracelyn Howes and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Coyle Drive, Seekonk.
Interment will follow at St.
Stephen Cemetery, Attleboro.
VISITATION will be Monday 4 to 7 p.m. at WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.
